Health and happiness and why this should be your number one goal.

If you’re unhappy in your life or mind you’re never going to lose the unhealthy weight that surrounds you.
If you’re relationship, job, current situation, past or fear for what is to come in the future are ruling your time then you’re going to have serious trouble making the changes needed to lose weight.
Why? Because when we’re unhappy we ‘use’. We find things that momentarily give us a break from the emotional roller coaster of unhappiness. These things are usually food – often unhealthy food, alcohol, excess coffee and laziness. Of course you’re going to be lazy and not want to exercise if you’re unhappy and your body is running off mud when it needs fuel.
We believe no long term change will occur in people’s health until they deal with their demons. That means the unhappiness in their life and/or head (that part depends on your perspective). Sometimes it takes exercise alone to change peoples path. Some times more. No one yet has regrets about trying to improve their lives no matter which path they have had to take. They do however have regrets about waiting too long to step-up. 5 years can pass in the blink of an eye.
If this is you right now. Take action. As hard and as daunting as it is, you must take action. You must reach out for help and you must plant the seeds to grow happiness. And of course, those seeds are the things you are avoiding. Regular exercise, healthy food, saying no to people when it doesn’t serve you, changing your thought process – one little thought at a time.
If you haven’t done it by yourself yet, you probably won’t. Getting help to plant all these seeds – and then water them – could shave years off your journey.
Thinking about it is good. But action is needed.
If you’re unhappy, forget about weight loss, it’s highly likely that won’t happen. Instead, plant seeds that will grow into happiness. When you’re happy, weightloss is effortless.
