It’s required to get what you want. Without it, you simply won’t.
Exercising needs to get the point where it’s like getting up and going to work in the morning.
You just do it. You have days you don’t feel like going but you get there anyway.
I love practicing discipline with my kids. Yesterday morning my 13 year old and I promised each other we’d go to the 6.00pm HIIT class together, we got on with our days and as 6.00pm rolled around we both couldn’t be bothered going. We didn’t let those feelings spiral into excuses, we got on with it and got there.
At 13 he’s going to have a huge advantage in life as he displays such great personal discipline at such a young age. He set goals over the holidays that he’s smashing and he’s flexing that discipline muscle everyday making it stronger and stronger.
