Women are great at taking care of everyone… but themselves.
They nurture, rush around, and continuously ignore what their desires and needs are because they are naturally pulled to care for their babies, families and friends and to put all of these precious people before themselves. We’re generalising here and know plenty of men that do this also, but here’s the point…
You MUST continue to do things for yourself.
In order for you to be the best you can be, you must keep filling your cup. We understand that you keep finding yourself exhausted, frustrated, resentful and lacking in confidence because your body reflects the attention you give it…. zilch!
Here’s your reminder of ‘non negotiable’s’ (in loose order) that you DESERVE and need to SERVE yourself weekly.
– Regular exercise that you’re held accountable to doing.
– Nutritious foods and organisation so it’s not too hard.
– Good friends that you can have raw and deep conversations with. Soul friends.
– Passions that light your heart on fire. Dancing, writing, sports, reading. What ever it is, make a little room for it.
Think forward… when you’re in your 70’s, 80’s do you really think putting yourself last for 20, 30, 40 years has actually helped your family thrive?
Definitely not. You taking care of you and MAKING time to ensure you’re ok is going to benefit your family and friends more than you will ever know in this life time.
